A degree in political science from the University of Washington in Seattle and a career flying around the world for an international airline is not the normal path for an eveningwear designer. But Joan “Sara Mique” Lamonica became so inspired by what she saw in her travels, that she started her own part time dress making business more than two decades ago with no more than her diplomacy and inspirations.
